Why XEEN CF
XEEN CF Cine Prime lenses are ultra-lightweight high performance cine prime lenses for large image sensors.
In order to cope with changes in the imaging environment where the equipment becomes smaller and lighter the XEEN CF R&D team started an innovation from the basic materials of the lens.
Carbon Fiber is widely used in the aviation and automotive industry for its light and robust properties but it is difficult to mold and therefore has not been utilized in the highly precise optics industry.
Researchers selected Carbon Fiber as the main material to maintain robustness and reduce lens weight. After years of efforts to shape fibers into specific shapes and sizes and graft them into sensitive and fragile glass parts we have finally made carbon fiber usable for XEEN CF.
The use of carbon fiber in the exterior reduces unnecessary weight and enhances rigidity. Less than 1kg (0.9lbs) of lightweight body can flexibly respond to various shooting environments and capture various images including weight-sensitive equipment such as drones and gimbals.

The bright aperture of the T1.5 delivers beautiful bokeh shallow depth of field and excellent low light performance.

The front aperture (95mm) focus and aperture ring gear positions are unified making it easy and convenient to attach and detach lens accessories such as Matte Box and Follow Focus. In addition the ultra-bright luminous font allows for convenient use in dark environments.
